We are focused on Educating the Future of Our Industry Through Accessible Training that Starts Today

The Painting Contractors Education Foundation, originally established in 1984, provides ongoing educational programs for painting contractors. This foundation supports PCA's PaintED and accreditation programs by providing funding for new classes, materials and new educational opportunities.

Your dollars today are contributing to the future of our organization and our trade.
And the future begins today.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards:

  • INVESTING in the curriculum today to train the professionals of tomorrow
  • DEVELOPING established curriculum to high schools, trade/vocational schools, community colleges and more
This curriculum will directly onboard into a viable trade for new painters and professionals starting another career
  • IMPLEMENTING an industry-wide set of best practices
These best practices will raise the bar for existing members and set the standard for incoming professionals

Thanks to the financial support of the Benjamin Moore Giving MOORE Foundation, the PCA has the jumpstart and support needed to bring these critical program to life.  This investment benefits the overall strength of our growing industry.

Your contributions will not only strengthen the quality of programs we are able to offer but also give directly back to you by pushing quality talent into the workforce.

Your Next Step

The curriculum we are developing includes a video-based basic painting instruction and onboarding series designed to help our members find, train, and put to work, unskilled or inexperienced painters. To do that, we need your monetary support and commitment of support.

We are committed to showing tradesmen and potential painters that the construction trades lead to a viable and rewarding career path. Join us in making this promise to the future of our industry.
