PCA Articles

Getting involved locally is a great way to utilize your PCA membership and connect with other contractors in your area. As part of PCA membership, you have access to local Councils that accommodate various networking and educational events throughout the year. These councils are encouraged to work with our PCA team and utilize an Advisory Model to help guide them throughout the year. 

The PCA team provides direct support in the following areas as part of the Advisory Model:

• Identifying local volunteers willing to serve on the Advisory Council
• Collaboration with Advisory Council to establish and organize an annual calendar
• Developing educational programs consistent with contractor needs
• Providing consistent marketing messaging
• Providing all financial services including vendor payment, event billing and sponsorship billing (National sponsorship support of local events)
• Fundraising for charitable activities locally by directing gifts to the PCA Education Foundation
• Helping to identify opportunities for PCA involvement in local industry events
• Providing on the ground volunteers for such education events and social gatherings
• Identifying local industry’s sponsor interest in supporting the work of PCA
• Communicating industry happenings in their respective community
