Jill Bader Thompson is a consultant tackling communications, branding, project management, strategic planning, advocacy and government affairs, event management and a host of other fun odds and ends for her clients. For nearly 20 years Jill has been an industry leader in communications strategy and has inspired dynamic teams to innovate and succeed.

Jill’s portfolio has included working with nonprofits, coalitions, individuals, trade associations, corporations, schools, startups and politicians. She has been Communications Director for several gubernatorial, U.S. Senate and presidential campaigns and also served many years in press offices on Capitol Hill. She has spearheaded multi-million-dollar efforts to recruit, train and support first time women candidates for political office. For the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Jill consulted on messaging, event planning and policy and issues management for GSUSA’s government affairs office in Washington.

Jill has also served the team of Hollywood-based Strategic Perception, a top national political advertising firm. Jill searched for our nation’s future political leaders and helped governors, senators and corporate clients tell their stories through cutting edge, dynamic advertisements.

Jill has shown she has a knack for strategic planning and creating systems for nonprofits and other groups looking to do good work, better.

Jill attended Wake Forest University on a Presidential Scholarship for Leadership and received a BA in Communication with Honors. She is a proud Gold Award Girl Scout. She volunteers for organizations supporting young women, especially St. Cecilia Academy and the Girl Scouts.
Jill lives in Nashville with her husband David, their children William and Clara, and their large yet lovable Rottweiler, Stella.
